Jo Miller, MPH, RDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist with more than 10 years of professional experience in clinical nutrition and disaster planning. She received a B.S. in Nutrition Science with a Minor in Food Service Management and Fine Arts from the University of California Davis and in 2010 completed her Master of Public Health also from the University of California Davis. 

Jo started her career as a clinical healthcare consultant and senior dietitian with Nutricopia, inc. and has been with Meals for All disaster nutrition solution for over 10 years, which manufactures meals to meet the many challenges of a healthcare population.  As Vice President of Nutrition, her focus is on best practices and regulations related to emergency nutrition preparedness, manufacturing, marketing, and education in preparedness planning. She is an invited speaker on the topic of emergency nutrition preparedness throughout the United States. Jo has over 15 years of volunteering with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and in 2019 she was elected to the House of Delegates representing Northern California’s Norther Area and Diablo Valley Districts to serve as a voice of Academy members and assist to identify and develop solutions to some of the challenges facing the profession. 

Jo is an outdoor and wilderness enthusiast, she can be found in the backcountry of the Sierra or climbing a mountain on most weekends.
