The annual Mahler at Pacific program at University of the Pacific is a wonderful opportunity for select high school musicians to play alongside Pacific's University Symphony Orchestra. High school students join our own students to rehearse and perform a Mahler symphony under the baton of orchestra director Nicolas Waldvogel on Pacific’s beautiful campus.

Why play with Mahler At Pacific
“I had a blast playing great music for Mahler At Pacific while having an amazing time. Playing the cello alongside Pacific students and my twin brother made it even more unique and enjoyable! I will forever remember this marvelous experience as well as the people, the school and the music.”
- Taylor Nguyen, cello
“The Mahler At Pacific orchestra was an amazing educational experience for me. I had the opportunity to play with many talented musicians and friends. This was an eye opening experience and I won’t forget the honor of playing.”
